The future of German international midfielder, Julian Draxler finally sees a clear path as he is set to join French side Paris Saint-Germain next January pending medical.
That news was confirmed by the midfielder’s current club, Wolfsburg, which confirmed it via their official twitter account, stating their farewell for Draxler.
On their statement, the Bundesliga outfit also explained that Draxler has agreed on a four and a half year contract with the Paris based outfit.
This certainly put to bed any previous speculation linking the former Schalke player with a potential move into English Premier League as he has been strongly linked with Arsenal recently.
This transfer is a given situation, notably since early this past summer, the 23-year-old has strongly stating his desire to leave and hasn’t been playing well afterwards.
Neither teams are willing to disclose the amount of money required for that deal, but rumors claiming that PSG will be paying 35 million euro for acquiring Draxler.
Being strongly heralded as one of Germany’s most promising talent since his eruption at Schalke, many are still waiting for the attacking midfielder to fulfill his potential.
Long term injuries in recent times has been halting his progress, but still at such a young age, there’s plenty of time for the German international to get things right.
