Diego Costa Looking to Leave Chelsea After Admitting Friction With Conte
An interesting development set to happen in the summer transfer market as Spanish international striker, Diego Costa publicly stating his wish of leaving his current club, Chelsea during his international duty with La Furia Roja.
Costa who throughout this season was reported to have some issues with The Blues’ boss, Antonio Conte, was not making things a secret anymore as in an interview with the media stating that the Italian tactician wants him out of Stamford Bridge.
As it was quoted on ESPN, the former Atletico Madrid man said that his current tactician confirmed that situation via text message, adding that due to that statement from Conte, Costa is now keen to look for a new club.
The striker admitted that he is disappointing with how things are developing, notably since they did just won the English Premier League this past season in a quite convincing fashion as well.
However, it’s not a surprising outcome for many football lovers as the friction that happened midway into Premier League’s latest season pretty much triggered opinion that Costa won’t be staying any longer at Stamford Bridge.
Knowing that next season will be a World Cup year, the attacker is keen on getting a concrete solution and would have to dismiss potential Atletico return for now due to the club’s recent transfer ban.
Although admitting that he would really love to play with Diego Simeone’s side once again, he believes it’s difficult to do since he would not be playing for four-six months should the striker pushed to sign with his former side.
This situation might trigger an interesting transfer market blast for several teams, especially those who are looking for an experienced and quality attacker.
