Being frozen out from Chelsea during the second half of last season by previous coach, Antonio Conte, David Luiz is finding his joy again at Stamford Bridge under new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
Luiz expressed that feeling in a recent interview with the media saying how things are getting better again for him with Sarri’s arrival, especially since the former Napoli boss brings a more attacking minded approach into the team.
The Brazilian international admitted that he is enjoying how the veteran tactician is implementing his tactic, providing more joy for the players to play football.
Moreover, Luiz also praised the way Sarri shared his footballing idea to the players in a more human kind of way, making him personally just feel that he is happy and keen on working hard.
So far in their recent friendly matches, the former Paris Saint-Germain defender has been starting and playing many minutes with Chelsea, so he has that strong believes that he will be part of the new look Blues this season.
Aside from Sarri, Luiz also sent heaps of praises towards his new teammate, Jorginho, who also arrived from Napoli, calling the midfielder a top class player.
The Brazilian defender added how having the Italian international brings lots of joy and happiness, notably due to Jorginho’s technical qualities.
