Arsenal quest for an attacker in the last day of summer transfer window brought them to Danny Welbeck, who despite coming from a rival team, revealed his joy to finally join the Gunners.
Being groom in Man United’s youth setup, Welbeck doesn’t have much hesitation in expressing his delight of arriving at Emirates stating that it’s time for him to take a different path from his youth days.
The England international is also confident that Arsenal’s playing style will definitely suit his characteristic as a striker, so he feels there won’t be any adaptation problem between him and his new teammates.
Welbeck’s move to Gunners was far from being considered as a smooth one since it only happened late on Monday, just before the summer transfer window was shut down.
