Dani Alves Happy With PSG Move, Apologize for Man City Snub
An interesting twist occurred regarding Brazilian defender, Dani Alves this summer as instead of heading to Manchester City, he headed towards Paris Saint-Germain instead.
The player has been officially announced as a new PSG player via the French Club’s statement, while Alves himself has also talked to the media expressing his happiness of joining the Ligue 1 outfit.
Aside from stating his joy of joining Unai Emery’s side, the Brazilian international also apologize to Pep Guardiola and Manchester City if somehow they felt hurt or disappointed with he current outcome.
Nevertheless, Alves stated that he has no regret of choosing PSG or City as the right back believes that the Ligue 1 giant have an exciting project along with strong ambition to do well in Champions League.
That big ambition added with the fact that his family apparently like living in Paris, also further fueled the ex-Barcelona’s player decision in picking up his current playing destination.
Moreover, the defender also keen on making sure that midfielder, Marco Veratti will remain in Paris this summer as Alves stated that he is looking forward to play with the Italian international.
The defender signed a two year deal with PSG, a strong commitment indeed from the Paris based club, considering the player himself is already reaching that 30 plus status in age.
