Chelsea moving their way into the second place seat in current English Premier League standing following a big 5-0 win this weekend over Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.

Staging the team’s last league tie in 2017, Antonio Conte’s men were very determined in putting on a special show for their fans at home as they set up an aggressive attacking play straight from kick off.

The Blues’ positive approach was immediately rewarded when they got themselves ahead after just three minutes of play through Antonio Rudiger.

Soon afterwards it was 2-0 when Danny Drinkwater netting home his team’s second before Pedro’s strike sealing the first 45 minutes with a 3-0 lead for Conte’s boys.

Nothing changed much after the break as Chelsea kept on playing aggressive attacking football and added two more goals in that second period from Willian’s spot kick and Davide Zappacosta’s effort.

Meanwhile, another disappointing result was earned by Manchester United as Jose Mourinho’s side struggling again to take three points at home after being held into a goalless draw by Southampton.

Drawing their last two league games, United were in dire need for three points not just to maintain their slim chase towards Manchester City but also keeping that runners up spot in tack.

However, it seems that their form is not trending forward recently as they continue to have problems in overcoming their opponent, despite playing at Old Trafford.

Throwing all they possibly can, Man United were unable to break down the Saints’ defense as that match ended in a 0-0 draw and making things worse, the home side also saw their main striker, Romelu Lukaku stretchered of the pitch for a nasty injury.
