Chelsea’s lack of consistency up from so far this season seemingly triggered The Blues’ boss, Antonio Conte to keep searching for a new striker this January.
After spending quite a lot for Alvaro Morata last summer, Conte’s side reportedly are very keen on swooping AS Roma’s bomber, Edin Dzeko, who could be available on the market this winter.
Although has been performing relatively well from last season up til now, Dzeko is not a player who the Gialorossi desperate to keep, as he is already 32 and they did already invest on potential replacement in Patrick Shick on the summer window.
Reports both from Italy and England stating that Chelsea along with Roma are currently negotiating on potential price for the Former Manchester City forward.
Moreover, the Bosnian might not be the only player involved in both teams’ discussion as there’s also Gialorossi defender, Emerson Palmieri and Blues’ attacker Michy Batshuayi.
Conte’s side are reported to also keen on signing Emerson and planning a double bid worth 50 million Euro for the defender along with Dzeko, while the Italian outfit wanted 65 million.
Meanwhile, Batshuayi is also being considered to be included in that deal as Chelsea keen on sending him on loan to Roma for at least the remaining of this season.
