Chelsea Completed Bakayoko Signing

The ongoing saga involving French international midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Chelsea finally ended on Saturday as The Blues officially announced the midfielder as their new signing.

After reports of the deal between Antonio Conte’s men and Monaco emerging early in the transfer window, things have been dragging out slightly longer than it was expected, but eventually everything is resolved much to the Premier League side’s joy.

Bakayoko’s deal itself was announced via The Blues’ official website, while adding that the midfielder has signed a five-year deal and set to wear the number 14 jersey this upcoming season.

The player himself also expressed his delight of joining Chelsea, stating that playing for Conte’s squad is a dream for hims as he grows up watching and loving last season’s Premier League winner.

Moreover, the Frenchman also added that he is looking forward to further improve his quality under Conte’s guidance along with playing with many top quality players next to him.

Certainly an important signing for Chelsea as it might calmed their manager, who has been reportedly getting rather irritated with the slow pace of his team’s transfer moves this summer.

The former Juventus’ boss is keen on having his team being formed early instead of waiting until the last days of the transfer market.
