The Italian tactician added that even though he personally admired the Serbian international’s quality, but Conte simply must accept certain decision that doesn’t always go his way.

Now, the former Juventus boss certainly hoping that their decision in banking on Timoue Bakayoko as potential replacement for Matic will pay off nicely this season, especially if they are determined to defend their league title.

However, Conte himself noted that if The Blues are keen on defending their title this upcoming season, more signings must be made since other teams have already improved their squad significantly.

The Italian is still hoping that before this summer transfer window closes, his side will be able to complete their squad so they can comfortably compete in the Premier League and also Champions League.
