Chelsea’s ambition in regaining their second place spot in English Premier League standings didn’t work as planned with Antonio Conte’s men only picking up a point from their midweek clash against Arsenal.

Both teams are gunning for all three points as they put on an aggressive approach since kick off in search for early goals.

Neither teams were able to get things going though in the first 45 minutes as they half ended in a goalless draw.

Things finally changed after the break with the home side getting themselves the first break through with a goal from Jack Wilshere on 63 minutes.

That lead didn’t last long though as four minutes later, The Blues drew level through Eden Hazard’s penalty execution.

Conte’s side turned things around on 84 minutes as the in-form Marcos Alonso got his name in the score sheet again for Chelsea.

However, just when the away side through that they are getting all three points Arsene Wenger’s boys found an equalizer thanks to a late effort from Hecto Bellerin in stoppage time.

A rather disappointing result for Chelsea as they conceded a late equalizing goal which puts them now sitting third again behind Manchester United in current standings.

Nevertheless, getting a point away from home against one of the top four contenders should not be something to be mourn about for long.
