Two London top guns, Chelsea along with Arsenal continuing their Europa League adventure in positive fashion as they picked up all three points on their second group game this past Thursday.

The Blues had it slightly tougher as Maurizio Sarri’s men only came away with 1-0 home victory over Hungary’s representative, Videoton,

Playing at Stamford Bridge, Sarri’s men tried to start the match with their usual possession based attacking football, but was struggling to finish off their opportunities.

The visitor themselves only managed to create several problems for The Blues, much to the surprise of Sarri’s men as they probably didn’t expect them to create many problems.

After a goalless first 45 minutes, Chelsea tried to increase their pressure in the second half and finally got that important goal through Alvaro Morata, who got emotional after netting home the winner on 70 minutes.

Meanwhile, Arsenal had a more comfortable result as they defeated Qarabag 3-0 with goals coming from Sokratis Papastathopoulos after just four minutes of play followed by efforts from Emile Smith-Rowe along with Matteo Guendouzi.

That 3-0 scoreline certainly more than enough to maintain that strong belief by Gunners that things are finally shaping well for them under Unai Emery’s guidance as they have been picking up positive results in recent matches.
