AC Milan resurgence in 2018 continue as under Gennaro Gattuso, Rossoneri are yet to be beaten on the new year and keep picking up positive results, including their 2-0 away victory over AS Roma.

Milan are in need of victory to open their shot in challenging for that top four finish by the end of season and Gattuso’s men successfully picked up all three points thanks to goals from Patrick Cutrone along with Davide Calabria.

Although both goals were certainly important, but Calabria’s strike can be considered as a thing of beauty as he calmly chipped the ball pass Roma’s goalie, Alisson.

The young defender broke through Il Gialorossi’s offside trap attempt after playing a nice one-two with Nikola Kalinic and without any fear just dink the ball to score his first goal in any official competition with the Rossoneri.

Not only because he is playing a right back, but the fact that he hasn’t scored any senior level goal with Milan before, certainly gives that extra value for the 21-year-old as it’s not easy to score that type of goal even for an attacking player.

Calabria himself has been putting on such positive performances during the Red and Black squad’s current positive run and with his first goal, Milanisti could expect the young player to further sharpened his game for upcoming matches.
