Brazil Joy Interrupted by Neymar’s World Cup Ending Injury

It was another joyful day for Brazilian people as their national team are getting closer in reaching that sixth title dream as they booked a ticket into semifinals against Germany.

However, Selecao’s 2-1 victory over Colombia took some casualties as Brazil star Neymar suffered a vertebraA fracture which should ruled him out for the rest of tournament, not only that for the semifinal tie, Luiz Felipe Scolari will also lose Thiago Silva due to accumulation.

Neymar’s absence is a sad story indeed as he has been the main man for Brazil in this 2014 World Cup, but with reports suggesting he will be out for few weeks.

Although it’s not actually a long term injury which needs surgery, but Neymar still need reasonable amount of time in recovering from that painful injury.

Things obviously got more complicated with their captain, Silva also missing out the Germany tie as the Paris Saint-Germain man has been an important figure in Selecao’s back line.

It will be a tough task indeed for Brazil in challenging Germany with those absentees, but some fans remain optimistic that their home ground advantage can help Selecao in securing their sixth World Cup title.
