The World Cup 2018 finally entering its final stage, but before finding out which team will be lifting the cup this year, it should be fun to check the best goals in the semifinals.

In total there were only four goals scored during that semifinals stage with three coming in one game, which is Croatia’s 2-1 victory over England.

Comparing all of those goals, the two which happened between Vatreni against Three Lions certainly deserved another viewing as Kieran Trippier’s strike along with Ivan Perisic’s effort were somewhat special.

Trippier scored the opening goal for Gareth Southgate’s men that provided them with strong hope of reaching the final as his curling free kick smoothly entered Croatia’s goal.

The Tottenham Hotspur’s men continue to show his excellent ability in terms of executing set pieces, which he seemingly gotten better during this tournament.

The other goal worth mentioning was Perisic’s  equalizing goal for his national team against Three Lions, midway into the second half.

It was a pretty excellent finish made by the Inter Milan winger as he scored in an acrobatic fashion, finishing off a fine assist from Sime Vrsaljko.

Not only being executing in such fine fashion, but that goal from Perisic also lifted his team’s spirit as they eventually dominate proceedings and went on to beat their opponent to reach the World Cup 2018 final.
