Bento Not Planing to Resign As Portugal Coach

Portugal’s World Cup hope is under serious threat as they only managed to collect one point from two games, this situation is not something that many fans were expecting putting a stern pressure on current European Selecao head coach, Paulo Bento.

Although there’s a potential on seeing his side crashing out early from World Cup 2014, Bento apparently has no intention in stepping down from his current role as national team coach, no matter what result should his team earned against Ghana.

The tactician also claimed that Portugal Football Federation still give their support towards him, so stepping down from his position is not something that Bento consider at the moment.

It would be interesting though to see whether that similar stance will remain should Portugal fail to pick up all three points against Ghana since there’s already several tactician, who suddenly handed their resignation even when there’s no rumor about their potential departure.
