Barcelona Agreed Fee for Dembele’s Signing From Dortmund
One of the recent major transfer stories this summer finally set for an ending as French international Ousmane Dembele is going to be a new Barcelona player after the Spanish side agreed terms with Borussia Dortmund.
After such on and off talks in recent days, the Catalan side finally confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Dortmund via Barca’s official twitter account, sending out their welcome bids for the young talent.
It was certainly a positive news for Barcelona fans who have been anxious in waiting to get potential replacement for Neymar, who recently departed the side for Paris Saint-Germain.
The deal that sway Dortmund away is certainly an expensive one as reports stating that Erneston Valverde’s side will pay 105 million Euro as an initial payment with add ons which should reach 140 million Euro in total.
It’s certainly bring a huge financial profit for the German side as they previously bought the 20-year-old for merely 15 million Euro from French side Rennes, which will also received an amount worth 20 million Euro due to the agreement they had with Dortmund.
Despite having some delays, many believes that the deal is always going to happen as long as Barcelona are willing to splash the money wanted by the Bundesliga outfit.
Dembele himself has been suspended by Dortmund in recent days following his AWOL from training session just after receiving the news of Barca’s interest on signing him.
