Arsenal Growing Confidence After Draw Against Liverpool

Experiencing a rather tough start into their Premier League season, things finally starting to shape up well for Arsenal as despite their recent two draws in the competition they haven’t been beaten in 14 games now in all competition.

The 1-1 draw against Liverpool also pretty much showed that they can hang with the big boys or even get better result as Unai Emery’s side were putting on a very good performance on that tie against Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Dominating possession and creating many problems for The Reds since early minutes, Gunners didn’t even fold when they found themselves trailing through James Milner’s second half strike as Alexandre Lacazette able to snatch the equalizing goal.

Albeit slightly disappointed with the result, but the London side believed they have shown positive improvement from their performance, just like what was stated by goal keeper, Bernd Leno.

Leno even went on and stated that how they were able to dominate Liverpool in terms of possession also proved that Gunners are now capable of competing with the top sides in Premier League.

Meanwhile, Emery also saw that his team’s match against The Merseyside based outfit is positive test on how far they’ve come following previous defeats which they suffered against Manchester City and Chelsea.

Nevertheless, the tactician warned his players that they must be able to maintain the same quality that they put out on Saturday in each of every game if they really keen on battling with the top side again.
