Arsenal really didn’t take too much time in getting themselves a replacement for their legendary former manager, Arsene Wenger as Gunners have finally confirmed Unai Emery as the next in line.
Reports about Emery’s appointment have resurfaced quite a lot in recent days, but it wasn’t until earlier today that everything has been made official by the Emirates based club.
The former Paris Saint-Germain coach himself also stated his joy in getting the Arsenal job and is looking forward to give his best for the Premier League outfit.
Emery also lauds Gunners stature as one of the most loved clubs in the world along with how well they have been managed up til now, while ensuring that he and the owners are committed to bring success for their fans.
Although his appointment is somewhat a surprise as he wasn’t someone being strongly favored by experts or the media, but the Spaniard do have a convincing CV, winning titles in Spain and France.
Rumors claimed that Emery signed a three year deal with the club and seemingly getting favorable support from Arsenal board members, as they believe he can give many joy for the club.
It will be interesting to see whether the former Sevilla boss can really be a good replacement for Wenger and get Gunners back into Champions League football after failing to reach it in the last couple of seasons.
