The big match between Arsenal and Liverpool went to be as exciting as it was expected with plenty of goals scored by both teams, six in totals with each netting three.
It was an interesting encounter as both teams are paving their way to battle for that top four seat, seeing the title chase is too far ahead for them at the moment.
Liverpool got into the game early on as they found themselves leading 1-0 up during the first half when Philippe Coutinho broke the dead lock with his effort on 26 minutes.
Things looked more comfortable for The Reds early in the second period as they doubled their advantage, this time with a goal from their current top scorer, Mohamed Salah.
However, within just a minute later, Gunners sparked their come back thanks to Alexis Sanchez’s effort that pulled it back into 2-1.
Shortly afterwards it was 2-2 as Granit Xhaka scored the equalizing goal, before Mesut Ozil turned it around by netting his team’s third, triggering delight for the home crowd at Emirates Stadium.
The lead didn’t last too long though as on 71 minutes, Roberto Firmino snatched the all important equalizing goal for Jurgen Klopp’s men and eventually forced both sides to settle for a point.
