AC Milan star Kevin Prince Boateng ‘Kicks Out Racism’ In a Friendly

Racism still become an issue in the start of 2013 as in a friendly between AC Milan against lower division side in Serie A, Pro Patria, was forced to be stopped because of that behavior. The match that was played on Thursday was stopped even before reaching the halfway marked when Milan player Kevin Prince Boateng decided to take a stand after continuous racism chants from the opponent’s fans.

Boateng who was dribbling his way in the left side of Pro Patria’s defense suddenly stopped, picked up the ball and kicked it towards a small section of fans who have been insulting him along with other black Milan players during the match. The Ghanaian then stormed off the pitch, followed by his teammates, applauded by other sections of fans who didn’t get involved in the incident.
