World football will have a new number one on Sunday evening.
Either Spain or the Netherlands will take top spot in the Fifa rankings after the World Cup final.
If the Oranje win in normal or extra time, they will climb to number one for the first time in their history. Spain will improve on their current second place if they win the trophy, or lose on penalties. Brazil went into the tournament as the number-one ranked side, but went out to the Dutch – currently in fourth place – at the quarter-final stages.
