Borussia Moenchengladbach's ambition in getting themselves back into Bundesliga's top four seat was halted this weekend as they were beaten by Wolfsburg.
Both teams were looking eager in getting all three points as they put on an aggressive display since kick off.
It was Wolfsburg though that got off into a better start as they went one goal up after just 15 minutes through Julian Draxler's effort.
Things got even better for the home side as two minutes later they doubled their advantage, this time with a goal from Max Kruse.
Moenchengladbach were not keen on giving up easily as they pulled one back with Raffael Caetano scoring on 23 minutes.
Despite both teams effort in the second half, no more goals were scored by either of them as Wolfsburg holding on to their slender lead.
