West Ham United FC 3-2 Cardiff City highlights: West Ham United earned their passage into the next stage of Capital One Cup after eliminating fellow Premier League side, Cardiff City on Tuesday.
The home side only needed a minute to get themselves in front as Ravel Morisson netting home a fine finish from inside the penalty area. Things looking good for West Ham when they managed to double their lead through Matthew Jarvis six minutes later. However that early lead was cut short just before half time break as Cardiff pulled one goal back with an effort from Craig Noone.
After the break, both sides looking really eager to pick up more goals, but it was Cardiff that got things going as they drew level through Peter Odemwingie's goal on 76 minutes. The host were not keen on throwing away their early lead as they regained their composure and struck the winning blow three minutes from time with an effort from Ricardo Vaz Te.
