West Ham United Vs West Bromwich Albion Highlights: Goals from Andrew Carroll and Gary O’Neil pushed West Ham to a 3-1 triumph against West Bromwich Albion.
West Bromwich lost the encounter but at the start of the match it was the visiting side who fired first and troubled the opposing team. Jaasekelainen had to make a superb save in order to deny Romelu Lukaku from scoring.
It took some minutes for Carroll to get into the game in itself but when he did, the match was changing direction. He created just enough space to deliver a pass over to Vaz Te but the Portuguese just wasted the chance away.
In the 16th minute however Carroll broke the deadlock when he connected with a corner of O’Neil and headed the ball past the goalkeeper Forster.
Now it was West Ham the team that went upfront and pressured West Bromwich. Their work paid off as they found their 2nd goal through O’Neil as he chipped the ball over Olsson and Forster turning the score 2-0.
Carroll added his 2nd goal in the last 10 minutes of the match before Graham Dorrans scored a consolation goal for West Bromwich with a penalty kick at the 88th.
