USA 5-1 El Salvador highlights: USA made their way into the semi finals stage of Concacaf Gold Cup after grabbing a convincing quarter finals victory over El Salvador this weekend.
Jurgen Klinsmann's men didn't wait long to push for victory as they went on the offensive since kick off and got themselves ahead after 21 minutes through Clarence Goodson. Eight minutes later, the USA doubled their advantage, this time from Joe Corona's effort. El Salvador looked to make things much more interesting when they pull one goal back through Rodolfo Zelaya's spot kick on 39 minutes.
In the second half, USA continue to play their attacking approach and eventually regained their two goals advantage with an effort from Eddie Johnson on 60 minutes. It was all Klinsmann's team in that second period as they added two more goals from Landon Donovan on 78 minutes and Mikkel Diskerud in the 83rd minutes.
