USA vs Mexico highlights (2-3)

Mexico made their way into the upcoming 2017 Confederation Cup after they won a prestigious Concacaf Cup battle over USA this midweek.

The battle between those two major force in Concacaf football was tense indeed as the away team got themselves in front through Javier Hernandez after just 10 minutes.

That early strike only lasted for five minutes though as USA bounce back with an effort from Geoff Cameron to make it 1-1.

Neither teams were able to score again during normal 90 minutes time as that tie went into another 2x15 minutes of extra time.

El Tri got themselves ahead again when Oribe Peralta scored on 96 minutes, but USA draw level again on 108 minutes through Bobby Wood.

Just as when that tie looked to be heading for a penalty shoot out, Mexico delivered the winning blow as Paul Aguilar netted home the winner two minutes from time.
