Sunderland Vs Chelsea Highlights: Chelsea played in what was their first victory under the guidance of Rafael Benitez as they visited the Stadium of Light to face off against Sunderland and comfortably picked up a 3-1 triumph that secures their 3rd place spot with 29 points.
Benitez’s squad entered the game going into the own half of Sunderland from the opening minutes of the match with their trio of Juan Mata, Hazard and Torres linking up and threatened the opposition.
It did not take long for them to break the deadlock with their high pace and quick busts upfront Chelsea opened up the score-board. Oriol Romeu released Eden Hazard down the left wing until the Belgium player picked out Torres inside the box and the Spanish forward made no mistake in scoring the 1rst goal of the match.
Right before the 1rst half came to a conclusion and Torres scored a 2nd goal. The Brazilian Ramires was brought down inside the penalty box of Sunderland and the former player of Liverpool was in charge of taking it as he slammed it home.
Juan Mata and Adam Johnson both found the back of the net for their respective clubs as the game finished with Rafael Benitez winning his 1rst match as coach of Chelsea in the Premier League.
