Dundee United's ambition in pushing for the top three seat in Scottish Premier League standings was halted his midweek as they only picked up a point against St Mirren.
Eager to get themselves into that top three seat, United tried to take control of proceedings since kick off.
However, it was St Mirren that got themselves in front when Kenny McLean scored after 39 minutes of play.
The away side were able to make a pretty quick response though as they snatched an equalizing goal from Stuart Armstrong two minutes before half time break.
In the second period, both sides continuing their quest for goals, but none of them were successful in doing so as that 1-1 scoreline lasted until the final 90.
