Aberdeen's challenge for table topping seat in current Scottish Premier League standings was halted this past weekend as they were held by St Johnstone.
Both teams looked very determined in snatching all three points as they were putting an aggressive approach since kick off.
It was the home team though that got things going as they went in front on 30 minutes through Simon Lappin's effort.
After the break, Aberdeen finally manage to get themselves back on level terms, thanks to an effort from Adam Rooney on 57 minutes.
No more goals were netted by either sides afterwards as that tie eventually ended in a 1-1 draw.
