Villa netted again on 49 minutes, followed by Torres who completed his hat-trick on 57 minutes.

Villa also netted his hat-trick in that match when he scored again on 64 minutes, before Juan Mata joining the goal fest with his strike two minutes later. After missing a penalty kick, Torres grabbed his fourth in that encounter with his classic goal on 78 minutes and Spain finally sealed their rout with Silva's second on 89 minutes.
