Bayer Leverkusen looking more comfortable in securing the third place seat in Bundesliga standings after picking up an important win over Schalke.
The away side didn't have a bright start in that tie as they found themselves trailing after just 14 minutes through Eric Choupo-Moting's effort.
Things got harder for Leverkusen when Schalke managed to double their lead on 29 minutes from Leroy Sane's goal.
Leverkusen refused to give up though as they fought back vigorously and were able to pull one back on 54 minutes through Julian Brandt.
The table suddenly turned in favor of Roger Schmidt's men as two minutes later they got back on level terms with a goal from Karim Bellarabi.
Shortly afterwards, Leverkusen completed their turn around as Javier Hernandez made it 3-2 with his strike on the hour mark.
