Montpellier was in need of a positive result after having lost in their 1rst Champions League fixture and now only managing a draw against Schalke which places them in the lower section of Group B with 1 point while Montpellier are sitting in a comfortable 2nd place with 4 points.
Karim Ait Fana started the game off in a superb fashion as he was the first to find the back of the net with a shot that curled into the right hand side of the net. Schalke responded quickly with Draxler meeting and connecting with a pass from Huntelaar and Draxler kept the ball under his control and with a simple touch he put his side back into the game.
A penalty was awarded to Schalke and Huntelaar blasted it past the goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall but it would make no difference as the visitors leveled the game at injury time with Camara scoring at the 94th minute.
