San Lorenzo made an important history on their football achievements after winning the Copa Libertadores for the first time by defeating Nacional Asuncion.
The Argentinian side having a slight advantage as they play that second leg tie at home after previously drawing 1-1 away to Nacional.
Knowing that the tie is poised equally, both teams were gunning for goals since early minutes, creating several chances to score.
However, it was the home team that got things going as they went ahead on 36 minutes with a penalty from Nestor Ortigoza.
That goal turned out to be the match winner as Nacional failed to grab an equalizer until the final whistle was blown.
Winning by 2-1 on aggregate was more than enough for San Lorenzo as they celebrated along with their joyful fans.
