Nottingham Forest's hope for play offs spot getting tougher as this midweek they were held into a draw by Sheffield Wednesday.
Eager to regain their play offs spot which have been missing in recent weeks, Forest tried to put on an aggressive display since kick off.
However, it was Wednesday that got things going as they went one goal up after 15 minutes of play from a spot kick by Christopher Maguire.
Forest reacted well though after conceding as they got back on level terms with a goal from Jamie Mackie on 44 minutes.
Wednesday regained their lead though before half time break as Lewis Buxton scored in stoppage time during that first half period.
Things were looking bright indeed for Wednesday as early in the second half they extended their lead through Joe Mattock on 57 minutes.
Forest refused to give up three points easily though as they kept on battling hard and eventually pulling one goal back on 77 minutes from Marcus Tudgay, before eventually getting back on level terms one more time through Jamie Paterson's strike on 87 minutes.
