Newcastle United Vs Sunderland Highlights:The 1rst victory of Paolo Di Canio as the manager of Sunderland was celebrated with a 3-0 triumph against Newcastle United when they played at St. James Park. Tim Krul would later be replaced by Rob Elliot but there was little the substitute goalkeeper could do to deny Johnson from scoring the 2nd goal in the 74th minute when he fired a superb curled effort past everyone else and into the goalkeeper’s net.

The Welsh international was at hand to score the 3rd and last goal of the match that Sunderland barely had much trouble in keeping Newcastle United at bay and their manager celebrating in his own way.
