Newcastle Jets 1-2 Perth Glory highlights: Perth Glory are putting themselves in a good position in the A-League standings after grabbing maximum points on their travel to Newcastle Jets last Friday.
Playing away from home didn't seem to trouble Glory players as they managed to open scoring after just 24 minutes through Matias Cordoba's low hard shot from just inside the box. The home side were not keen on going down easily though as they fought back and grabbed an equalizer in the stroke of half time with a fine effort from Taggart.
After the break, things got more interesting as both sides were very keen on grabbing that important winning goal, but it was the visitor that eventually got that important strike as Michael Thwaite netted deep in stoppage time with a simply finish inside the area.
