A battle for survival occurred this midweek in England Championship league as home team, Millwall hosted Sheffield Wednesday at The Den stadium. Both teams are in need of three points which will help them moving away from that bottom three seat of current standings. That strong need for points triggered a very tight encounter as those two teams were busy canceling each others out instead of creating goal scoring opportunities.
Midway into the second period, that tie starting to open up when Wednesday got themselves ahead on 69 minutes through Giles Coke's effort. However, that lead was eventually canceled out when Dudley Campbell got his name in the score sheet for Millwall 10 minutes from time. No more goals were scored from either sides after that as they were forced to settle for a disappointing 1-1 draw.
