When Luis Nani was bursting down the flank he slipped a pass inside the box of Real Madrid and took a minor deflection off of Welbeck before arriving to Ramos who was not expecting the ball and mistakenly scored in his own net.
The game changing moments arrived some minutes later as Luis Nani was shown a red card after lifting his studs and hitting the chest of Arbeloa and also hitting his left arm. The referee displayed the red card to the Portuguese winger as he left his team with 10 players.
Seconds later and Arbeloa was replaced by Modric who made a huge impact within a few minutes as he slammed the ball past De Gea and into his net.
