Manchester City Vs Chelsea Highlights:The most anticipated match in this week of the Premier League arrived when Manchester City received Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium and goals from Yaya Toure and Carlos Tevez saw the home team defeating Rafael Benitez’s squad.

From the early few minutes of the encounter Manchester City placed pressure upfront and slamming efforts which forced Petr Cech on making last minute saves in order to keep his team in the game.

The attacking trio consisting of Aguero, Toure and Silva caused trouble against the defenders of the opposition as they blocked with anything they had in this 1rst half. Chelsea on the other hand tried to rely on the magic of Juan Mata and Eden Hazard but neither of them really found any kind of momentum at this point.

A lifeline was given to Chelsea in the 2nd half when Demba Ba was brought down by Joe Hart and a penalty set-piece was awarded to the visiting team. Frank Lampard was the man in charge to take it and despite launching a powerful shot it was denied by the English goalkeeper.

Manchester City clearly was the better side and it was only a matter of time until they could find a gap in the defence of Chelsea.

The home team got their deserved goal at the 63rd minute through Yaya Toure after receiving a pass from Silva and he got his way past 2 defenders until slotting it into the further side of the net.

Carlos Tevez sealed it all off in the 85th minute with a thunderbolt shot that turned the final scoreboard 2-0.
