Hull City AFC 2-2 Cardiff City highlights: Hull City managed to seal their automatic promotion spot into the Premier League next season despite only grabbing a point from their latest league fixture against league leader, Cardiff City on Saturday.
Things didn't look that bright though for Hull as after a rather dull first 45 minutes, they found themselves going a goal down early after the break as Cardiff scored first through Frazier Campbell. However, that lead didn't last that long as the host finally managed to level things up on 57 minutes through Nick Proschwitz.
Few minutes later, Hull managed to turn things around when Paul McShane nodded home from a corner to give his side a 2-1 lead which could also seal their play off spot. Things got more interesting in the final minutes as Cardiff were forced to play with 10-men after Andrew received his second booking on 89 minutes. The home side missed out the chance to seal things in stoppage time as they missed a spot kick.
Not long after that miss, Hull were made to pay as Cardiff got their equalizer deep in stoppage time also from the penalty kick which was successfully converted by Nicky Maynard. Luckly, the host still got themselves promoted after their closest rival, Watford suffered a defeat in their other match.
