Glasgow Celtic 4-3 Aberdeen FC highlights: Current Scottish Premier League table topper, Glasgow Celtic got themselves back on winning ways after picking up a hard fought victory over their rival Aberdeen on the weekend.
Losing their last three league games, Celtic were determined to grab maximum points and they showed their intensity straight from kick off as it took them only a minute to open the scoring through Chris Commons' excellent angled drive from inside the penalty area. However, that lead didn't last until the second period as right in the stroke of half time a defensive error allowed Scott Vernon to score a simple equalizer for Aberdeen.
Things got even more interesting in the second half as Aberdeen reacted positively early in that period when they turned things around with an effort from Josh Magennis on 53 minutes. Soon afterwards, Magennis stunned the home crowd again, scoring his second and gave his side a commanding two goals advantage after an hour of match.
However, Celtic were not keen on losing another league battle as eight minutes after Aberdeen's third, the host reacted well and pulled one back with an effort from Charlie Mulgrew. Three minutes from time, the host managed to equalize from Gary Hooper's close range header. Finally, deep in stoppage time, Celtic Park erupted when Giorgios Samaras scored with a fine overhead kick which gave all three points for Neil Lennon's men.
