Fulham Vs Newcastle United Highlights: Hugo Rodallega’s 2nd half header made the difference in Fulham’s latest Premier League match against Newcastle United that ended with a score of 2-1. An early goal from Steve Sidwell was cancelled out by Hatem Ben Arfa but Rodallega arrived to score the winning goal.
It was a great start for Fulham as it only took them 19 minutes to score the opening goal. Steve Sidwell collected the ball at the right hand side at the edge of the box before releasing a low shot that took a deflection off of Mike Williamson but it still went into the net of Tim Krul.
The 2nd half arrived and Fulham enjoyed having an upper hand in the battle of midfield as they created more shots but failing on doubling their lead.
Newcastle on the other hand relied on Cisse who was linking up with Demba in the first few minutes of this period of the match. With the match progressing further and further the visiting side ascended in terms of free-flowing play and were quickly becoming the better side.
They got the goal they deserved at the 54th minute through Ben Arfa as he whipped in a shot from over 20 yards away that blasted into the back of the net but a late goal from Rodallega gifted all the points to Fulham.
