Paris Saint-Germain's domination in France football is without any doubt as aside from taking charge of current Ligue 1 standings, Laurent Blanc's men successfully making their way into the semi finals stage of League Cup after defeating home team, Bordeaux this past midweek. The away side immediately tried to take hold of proceedings as they were pushing forward right from kick off, but it took them quite a while before getting things going as they took a one goal lead just before half time whistle through Javier Pastore.
Bordeaux were not keen on giving things up easily though as they poured forward in search for an equalizing effort and they did manage it early after the break through Andre Biyogho Poko's on 48 minutes. Things starting to look very tight from that moment as both sides continue to cancel out each others, before PSG finally regained their lead with an effort from Adrien Rabiot on 86 minutes, which soon followed by Blaise Matuidi's strike which basically secured his team's victory two minutes from time.
