Houston Dynamo's ambition to get into that playoffs seat becomes tougher as this midweek they were beaten by Colorado Rapids.
Playing at home, Rapids were determined in making a positive start in that game as they push forward early on.
That positive approach was rewarded on 20 minutes when the home side got themselves in front through Vicente Sanchez's spot kick.
However, that slender lead was eventually canceled out on 37 minutes as Dynamo equalized also from the spot, which was expertly taken by Brad Davis.
Both teams continue to pour forward in search for that winning strike and it was Rapids that eventually got it when Kevin Doyle netted home on 79 minutes.
