Bolton Wanderers continuing their adventure in the FA Cup this season as they successfully bag a home victory over Blackpool in the third round of that competition this past weekend. Bolton made a positive start on that weekend encounter as they got themselves ahead after just 10 minutes into the match with a quick goal from David N'Gog. The away side were not folding easily though as they pushed forward in search for an equalizing goal which they did earn just before half time whistle through Tom Barkhuizen's effort.
After the break, both sides kept on pouring forward as they seek for that important winning strike and early into that second period, it was Bolton that regained their lead, thanks to a goal from Jermaine Beckford on 51 minutes. That goal turned out as the match winner as neither of those two teams were able to convert any of their remaining goal scoring opportunities.
