The hosts found their long searched equalizer in the last few minutes of the encounter when the referee gave away a penalty kick to Basel which was taken by Fabian Schar as he blasted it past Petr Cech.

Chelsea continued pushing on forward in the attack with everything they had available and in the last breath of the match David Luiz edged out the last goal.
