Barcelona regained their lead at the top of La Liga this weekend after bagging an important home victory over Malaga at Camp Nou stadium. Being troubled with recent off the pitch issues, which resulted in the resigning of their president, El Barca didn't show any lack of performance that day as they put on an attacking display straight from kick off. After missing several early chances, the Catalan side finally got themselves in front five minutes before half time through Gerard Pique.
The home team kept on pouring forward vigorously in search for goals and on 55 minutes, they extended their lead with an effort from Pedro. Barcelona finally securing all three points from that game when Alexis Sanchez netting home his teams' third on 61 minutes. It was an important win indeed for El Barca as they are being tightly chased by two Madrid teams in current La Liga standings.
