Arsenal FC Vs Aston Villa FC Highlights: 2 goals from Santi Cazorla ensured Arsenal they stay alive battling the top 5 positions of the Premier League.

The Spanish players scored 1 goal in each half as they battled their way past Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.

From the very start of the match it was all Arsenal as they controlled the early stages of the game and fired with everything they had in the pitch. Aston Villa’s Brad Guzan had to be at his best to deny an early attempt from Jack Wilshere on scoring.

Brad Guzan could do nothing to deny Santi Cazorla opening goal at the 6th minute when Nathan Baker had blocked the initial attempt from the Spanish player from scoring but the rebound allowed Cazorla on taking a 2nd shot and this time making no mistake in blasting it home.

Aston Villa’s response came in the 68th minute after a lighting fast counter-attack ended up with the ball falling into the path of Weimann as he was bursting upfront until firing a low but quick shot that went right past Wojciech Szczesny and into his bottom right hand corner.

In the last 5 minutes of the game Arsenal clinched the victory after Monreal rushed down the left wing and cutting it back to the unmarked Cazorla as he scored with a 1rst touch that secured the victory and all 3 points for Arsene Wenger’s side.
