Aberdeen holding into the second seat in current Scottish Premier League table after grabbing a hard fought home win over troubling Hibernian side this past weekend. The home side tried to take control of proceedings since kick off, but were finding it hard in breaking down their opponent's back line as they were forced to settle for a goalless draw during first 45 minutes.
Things still looking pretty tight after the break as those two sides looked more comfortable in canceling each others out, but with three minutes left in the clock, it was Aberdeen that eventually coming away with all three points with Willo Flood scoring for Aberdeen. With not much time left after that strike from Flood, that game practically ended in favor of Dons. It was an important victory indeed as their current runners up spot is safe for at least one more week.
