John Heitinga admitted Darren Fletcher’s stunning volley changed the game after Everton suffered a 3-0 defeat at Manchester United.
Heitinga believes it was Fletcher’s contribution which ultimately swung the clash in United’s favour.
“After it the game changed and they started to play better and better,” he told evertonTV. “At half time we spoke about it and I think we did well in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
“We created some chances and, if you’re lucky, you’ll score one of them. But after that they made it 2-0 and the game was over.” from evertonfc.com
